Description:

Costa Rica's Southern Pacific coast showcases a natural gem, spanning 300 hectares of land and serving as a refuge for many marine species not found anywhere else along the Pacific coast. It is the second-best diving and snorkeling spot in Costa Rica.

To enjoy this adventure, the journey begins from the port of Sierpe at 8 am, with a tour through the mangroves to the mouth of the Sierpe River, enjoying sightings of some animals like monkeys and various bird species.

The ocean journey takes about 45 minutes, allowing for a brief dolphin sighting excursion.

There are two snorkeling or diving sessions at two different locations. While the reef may not be as developed due to the characteristics of the Pacific coast, the observation of large fish is remarkable, with sightings of species such as manta rays, white-tipped sharks, red snappers, butterfly fish, surgeonfish, parrotfish, and many more. The tour concludes at 4 pm.

For diving on this tour, an open water license or certification from any other institution is strictly required.
